Breeze through security – a smoother airport experience with TSA Pre✓®

Before you get to your first bridge, a quick detour to give you the best view of Lady Liberty.

We’re thrilled to be the first UK carrier to participate in the US Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) TSA Pre® (also known as “TSA Precheck”) programme. Participating customers in the TSA Pre program can skip the slower security queues and enjoy a faster, easier security screening process when departing from US airports. With TSA Pre, there’s no need to remove shoes, light jackets, or belts. Laptops and compliant liquids can also remain in hand luggage, making the trip through security at the airport a breeze.

The average customer with TSA Pre spends less than five minutes when travelling through US airports such as JFK. With all of that time saved, perhaps indulge in an extra tipple in our Clubhouse or a bit more shopping in the terminal.

We’re always looking for ways to make our customers’ journeys more enjoyable, and that’s why we’re partnering with the TSA to offer our customers TSA Pre on flights from the US to the UK so you can have a stress-free journey from the moment you enter the airport to the point you arrive at your final destination. Our joint venture partner, Delta Air Lines, already offers this option for customers flying on Delta, but with the expansion of this programme to Virgin Atlantic flights too, customers will find it even easier to fly across the pond and connect in the US.

Membership has its rewards, including a faster start to your next adventure. Take a trip to our TSA Pre website for more information on the program and how to qualify. For UK customers, we encourage you to enrol in the Global Entry programme – a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) programme that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travellers upon arrival in the US. Qualified Global Entry customers receive access to both TSA Pre and Global Entry programmes.
