On the 13th May 1806 a New York publication called ‘The Balance and Columbian Repository’ first defined a cocktail as “a stimulating liquor, composed of spirits of any kind, sugar, water and bitters.” And so began the world’s love affair with cocktails and the wonderful variety of drinks created by skilled mixologists around the world.
To celebrate World Cocktail day we have enlisted the help of Mark Murphy, our Clubhouse Food and Beverage Manager.
