Normally, to experience the sublime Eric Lanlard afternoon tea you’d have to visit his beautiful patisserie next to the Thames in Battersea. It’s one of London’s greatest dining experiences. Eric has been obsessed with baking since a child when he earned his nickname Cake Boy, and he learned his craft with the greats of Paris and London. So we’re delighted and super proud that he’s now curated a series of seriously scrumptious afternoon teas just for you. The Mile High Tea is served in all classes and features freshly made rolls and scones. In Premium you also get a macaron and an éclair, and in Upper you get a macaron, éclair and financier. As you’d expect with such high end cuisine, it’s all presented beautifully.

Eric’s new afternoon tea isn’t the only thing to enjoy onboard. It joins a host of food and drink options already available, including two tasty meals, snacks, wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks as well as our specially curated inflight entertainment selection.
Economy – Specially branded Mile High Tea box, mozzarella with green pesto and slow roast tomato filled roll, scone, jam and cream.
Premium – Choice of mozzarella with green pesto and slow roast tomato or roast beef with creamy horseradish and rocket filled rolls. Passion fruit eclair, blackberry macaron, warm scone with jam and cream. Offered with a glass of Prosecco.
Upper Class – Choice of mozzarella with green pesto and slow roast tomato filled roll and falafel, red pepper hummus, carrot and yoghurt dressing in a beetroot wrap, or roast beef with creamy horseradish and rocket and hot smoked salmon with rocket filled rolls. Served with passion fruit éclair, blackberry macaron, chocolate and pistachio financier and a warm scone with jam and cream. Upper Class and Flying Club Gold Card members can also experience Eric’s Afternoon Tea in our Heathrow and New York JFK Clubhouses, with more coming soon.
