By using drones, modern phones, hand held stabilisers and timelapse software, a new generation of brilliant content creators has emerged to tell the story of the world like never before

There’s no better way to whet your appetite for a new destination than to explore their work, so we’ve scoured the Internet for timelapse and drone videos of our fascinating, newest city: Tel Aviv.

Only a short time ago, making films like these would have been the preserve of high end production companies using super expensive equipment – think helicopters! Now modern technology has made travel videography much more accessible, making it easy to capture the essence of a destination at a fraction of the cost. So what did we find? With imagery showcasing the food, people, art, culture, natural beauty and beaches of Tel Aviv and beyond, we share a few of our favourite films below.

Our first film is by Jakob Creutz who captures some of the most varied and beautiful landscapes of Israel. From the green north to the desert in the south, the video captures some landmark sights, from Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee, to Banyas National Park, Akko and Rosh Hanikra.

ISRAEL – Tel Aviv / Jaffa / Haifa – Land of Creation is by Filmmejker, whose video captures the greenery, the street life, the architecture and the stunning beaches of Tel Aviv.

Amazing Israel by Mattia Bicchi showcases his incredible skills at timelapse and hyperlapse video. Check out his YouTube channel for more amazing footage.

Jerusalem, Jaffa, the Dead Sea, Latrun Monastery, Acre, the Sea of Galilee, the holy Western Wall and plenty of Israel’s other highlights feature in this lovely film by Tom’s Tech Time

Israel Yaffo Tel Aviv aerial drone video by Ruslan Paul is a short film showing the beauty of Jaffa, the ancient port city out of which Tel Aviv grew.
