After many months of planning and system changes, testing and marketing our very first ‘three new ways to fly’ customers took to the air today. It was the first chance our customers had to experience our new Economy Delight, Economy Classic and Economy Light products and it all went well.
The first flight with our five brands on took off on time from Shanghai headed for London. As the day progressed more and more photos of cupcakes, bunting and balloons emerged as our airport teams celebrated the occasion with our customers. The day also saw our Premium Economy product rebranded simply as ‘Premium’ with new airport signage on display for the first time this morning.
Georgina Taylor, our Regional Manager, was at Gatwick talking to some of our customers. “This a new era for Virgin Atlantic,” said Georgina. “By re-imagining our economy services, we’ve given more customer a choice and the opportunity to explore our award-winning service*”.
