Next up in our Experience This series of new adventures and upcoming happenings is something we’re rather excited about – the world record-breaking Fabergé Easter Egg Hunt across London – otherwise known as The Big Egg Hunt – which kicks off on Tuesday 21 February and lasts for 40 days and 40 nights.
Throughout central London, more than 200 30-inch tall individually-crafted fibreglass eggs will be on display, created by leading luminaries in the worlds of fashion, art, product design, architecture and jewellry, and it’s up to you to find them.
If you’re up for the challenge, get ready to journey through the city, picking up intriguing clues along the way for an original and truly interactive Easter experience. Keep a close eye on the website because from next Tuesday, details of where you can pick up a map and download the egg hunt’s app will be revealed.
Featuring unique creations from the likes of Bruce Oldfield, Zaha Hadid, Zandra Rhodes, Vivienne Westwood, Sir Peter Blake, Sophie Conran, Tommy Hilfiger, Mulberry, MIA, Nicky Haslam, Sir Ridley Scott and – our personal fave – Moshi Monsters, the big egg hunt will celebrate the diversity of creative talent throughout the capital and beyond.
There’s even a chance to own one of these collectable works of art when the event is over – they will all be auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the events two charities, Action for Children and Elephant Family.
