Hong Kong does excitement like nowhere else. We love the way the city’s gleaming skyscrapers mix with its colonial vestiges, making for a truly unique ambiance. Here we’ve chosen a few of our favourite Hong Kong videos to give you a flavour of the city’s thrilling atmosphere.

“HONG KONG” by Julian Fuersinger

From locals shopping in a fish market to a camera-waving tourist and someone running for a bus, we think this delicious video captures the energy and beauty that gives the Hong Kong its own brand of magic.

“Hong Kong” by Vicente Sahuc

This video set to the delicate music of Barth decelerates Hong Kong into slow motion, offering the chance to view the city outside of its frenetic pace and capturing beautiful moments of everyday life.

“So Long, My Hong Kong” by Gregory Kane

When videographer Gregory Kane left Hong Kong after six years living there, he shot this video as a love letter to the city. We adore the way he captures iconic scenes with humour and more than a dash of charm.

“Hong Kong Taxi” by Ed Jones

Videographer Ed Jones captures the unique perspective of one of Hong Kong’s 18,000 taxi drivers. We follow along as he takes to his five-hour shift behind the wheel, with time lapse shots taken from the roof and bonnet of the car.

“Hong Kong” by Kadshah Nagibe

This beautifully shot video captures a day in some of our favourite, classic Hong Kong scenes, from the 10,000 Buddhas Monastery to double-decker buses running up and down Central.
