Here at Ruby, we’re obsessed not just with the journey but with what lies beyond. That’s why we love our new Trip Advisor campaign that shows off some of our destinations in stunning 360-degree video, narrated by some of Trip Advisors most prolific reviewers – PrestonGuild and 219wesleyn.
The videos transport you to two of our most popular and dynamic destinations.
The first video takes you to Miami, and you can enjoy a jetski ride along the shoreline, an airboat ride through the Everglades and a drive through Miami Beach in an open top classic car.
In the second video, you get a whistlestop tour of San Francisco, heading by boat under the Golden Gate bridge, through the city’s landmarks by tram and then jump on a cycle to experience Old Woods National Park. It finishes with a hot air balloon flight across the Napa Valley wine region.
The campaign is the winner of the 2016 TripAdvisor Creative Challenge, which invited brands to showcase their creativity and talent through the interactive medium of online advertising display. Our advertising guru Hamish Rickman had this to say about the campaign:
“As a brand, we wanted to make the most of today’s fast moving technology to deliver a truly interactive and engaging experience both visually and aurally, putting people and their experiences at the heart of the idea. We also wanted showcase the fantastic culture and vibrancy that both destinations have to offer.”
